Pushkar.com is a static, independently run travel guide. We collect as little data as possible.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a newsletter, a comment system or contact forms on this site. If you email us, we hold your message and address only for as long as needed to reply.
Cookies and local storage
This site stores one thing in your browser: your chosen language, so that the homepage can honour it on your next visit. It is kept in your browser’s local storage, never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party services
Two partners load content or receive traffic from this site:
- GetYourGuide — booking widgets are embedded on some pages, and outbound tour links carry our partner id so that bookings can be attributed to us. GetYourGuide sets its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Trip.com — accommodation links point to Trip.com, which operates under its own privacy policy and cookie practices.
We also load web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google’s servers.
Analytics
We do not run our own analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. As we hold almost none, this is usually a short conversation. Write to us at the address on our contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
